JOB DESCRIPTION

Merlo Coffee Russell Street - Toowoomba is looking for:

a Full-Time Chef

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Food preparation/serving: perform food preparation of cabinet items as well as serve a la carte made-to-order meals
  • Product knowledge: advise customers and staff on gluten and dairy free items in addition to in-store specials
  • Kitchen organisation: manage the work flow and meet preparation targets, complete food safety checklists and other OH&S procedures, order stock and food items for the store
  • Customer service: ensuring Merlo’s famous customer-focused service is upheld at all times

To ensure your success in these roles you will have:

  • Full Time availability
  • Flexible hours over a 7 day roster
  • Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or higher
  • Health, safety knowledge and best practice requirements
